1.1.0 July 2026 New look

  • A whole new look. Wairy has been redesigned around a calmer dark palette with a blurple accent and the Inter typeface, so risk stays easy to read and the four risk bands stay easy to tell apart at a glance.
  • Sharper detail cues. The "more info" affordance on each grant is now clearly tappable, and the Permissions and History views open with a short explainer of what you're looking at.
  • More accurate AI detection. Apple's own system processes are no longer mistaken for AI tools, so "Running right now" shows only the real agents. A macOS text-input helper named CursorUIViewService is no longer confused with the Cursor editor.

1.0.1 July 2026

  • Clearer cleanup for uninstalled apps. When a leftover grant can't be reset with Apple's tools, the failure now offers a direct link to the right System Settings pane instead of leaving you to hunt for it.
  • Hardened updates. App updates are now downloaded only from Wairy's official host over HTTPS, an extra layer on top of macOS notarization checks.
  • Support & about links. Settings now links straight to support and the developer, Intergalactic Robots.

  • Permissions dashboard. Every access grant on your Mac, grouped by app and ranked by an explainable risk score. Full Disk Access, screen recording, microphone, accessibility, and dozens more, each in plain English.
  • AI Agents view. Your whole AI footprint in one place: agents running right now, MCP servers and the permissions they act through, AI browser extensions and their native bridges, autostart entries, and locally hosted models.
  • Everything Else view. The non-AI complement of the AI footprint, so nothing hides just because it isn't AI-related.
  • Change history. A local timeline of every grant that appears, changes, or is removed between scans.
  • Cleanup. Reset a grant through Apple's own tools, surface leftover grants from apps you deleted months ago, and reclaim gigabytes of forgotten model caches.
  • Menu bar monitoring. Optional background scanning that alerts you the moment something new gets access.
  • Local-first, always. No account, no cloud, no telemetry. Reading is strictly read-only; changes happen only when you click them.
